China has announced large-scale mitigation measures to support an economy weakened by trade disputes. The Central Bank, together with financial regulators, announced a reduction in the seven-day reverse repo rate by 10 bps to 1.4%, as well as a reduction in the mandatory reserves ratio by 50 bps. These steps will free up about 1,000 billion yuan ($138.6 billion) to boost liquidity.
