The US stock market ended trading higher on Wednesday, with the S&P 500 index reaching a new all-time high. Investors analyzed corporate reports and news, awaiting the publication of Nvidia Corp.'s quarterly results, which should clarify the prospects for the technology sector, especially in the field of artificial intelligence, and also help assess the justification for high stock prices of IT companies. Among the growth leaders in the S&P 500 were the securities of lithium producer Albemarle Corp., which rose in price by 7.5%. In the Dow Jones Industrial Average, the best results were shown by shares of Salesforce Inc., which gained 2.6%. Following the results of trading, the Dow Jones index rose by 0.32% to 45,565.23 points. The S&P 500 gained 0.24% and reached 6,481.4 points. The Nasdaq Composite increased by 0.21% to 21,590.14 points.
