The Italian authorities intend to allocate 7.5 billion euros ($8.4 billion) to combat the epidemic of a new type of coronavirus COVID-19, which turned the country into a European epicenter of the disease.
Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte noted that the country needs emergency support measures. According to Finance Minister Roberto Gualtieri, the government plans to introduce an incentive package next week.
